The Remsen Barn Festival is always held the fourth full weekend in September

along Main Street in the Village of Remsen.  It features Accoustic Music,

Street Entertainment, Traditional Hand Crafts, Authentic Foods & Artwork

A dedicated group of local residents organize the annual outdoor festival.  The committee coordinates the vendor/exhibitor application process, event setup & local preparation, parking & public transit, and events throughout the weekend.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS

From the South (Utica) Proceed North on Route 12. Take the Prospect / Rt. 365 Exit. Turn right at the end of exit ramp. Proceed on Rt.365 East to the blinking light at Prospect.  Turn Left on Prospect Road. then take your first left on Middle Road. Follow parking flagger instruction

 
From the North (Boonville / Old Forge)
Proceed South on Route 12. Take the Prospect / Rt. 365 Exit. Turn left at the end of exit ramp. Proceed on Rt.365 East to the blinking light at Prospect.  Turn Left on Prospect Road; take your first left on Middle Road. Follow parking flagger instruction


BY TRAIN

Adirondack Scenic Railroad provides transportation directly to the festival dropping off at the Remsen Depot/Barn Festival Parking Lot D. The train leaves from Union Station in Utica in the morning and returns late afternoon. For reservations, or to verify train schedules, call 724-0700.
